How do we stop Haaland?
Liverpool take on Man City at Anfield on Sunday and there's only one question being asked.
“We have to try to stop the balls going to him, defend at the highest level, and be at our best, and that’s what we always have to be against City and that’s not going to be any different on Sunday.” said Virgil van Dijk ahead of the game.
The last time the two clubs met was in the Community Shield back in July. Liverpool were in good form at the time and City’s new Norwegian striker was unusually quiet.
A lot has changed since then. The Reds have struggled while Haaland has found his stride. It’s sure to be an interesting encounter, particularly with Ibrahima Konate now doubtful with a muscle injury.
Sunday’s game could go either way!
