Bournemouth v Liverpool Preview
Let's go cherry picking...
We head south with a renewed sense of optimism after Wednesday night’s Champions League victory at Marseille. The defence stood strong, the midfield controlled the game and we took our chances when they came along. That is the Liverpool we’ve been missing in recent weeks.
Now let’s take that same attitude and desire to the Vitality Stadium. This evening’s game with Bournemouth will be a chance to show another glimpse of the Liverpool that Arne Slot refers to when he said “I can assure you we are already in a good place, but this team, this club, will be a in a better place the day after and the day after,” during Friday’s press conference.
Liverpool have won 12 of their last 13 Premier League games against Bournemouth, with the exception being a 1-0 away defeat in March 2023.
The match will be shown in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event, Premier League and Ultra HD, and can be streamed via Sky Go and NOWTV for subscribers.
